We stand behind our work. However we have to also list some things we have no control over and cannot cover under any of the warranties we offer:
  1. Ice damage. If possible remove all items from water that may be damaged by the ice. 
  2. Damage which, in the opinion of Slate's Marine Construction/ On The Water Designs, can be attributed to abuse, accidents, weight exceeding maximum capacity, maladjustment, negligence, improper storage, assembly, use or installation.
  3. Damage caused by a repair or an attempt to repair or have modifications made by someone other than a service centre authorized by Slate's Marine Construction/ On The Water Designs.
  4. Damages caused by acts of Nature (ie. Wind, Water, Ice, Snow)
  5. Damage caused by fresh or salt water.
  6. Removal and reinstallation fees
  7. Any use not considered normal for residential or commercial purposes
